Get A Library Card
Individuals who are Delaware residents with a valid Delaware ID or own property in the state are entitled to a free library card, which can be used in any of Sussex, Kent County's, and now New Castle Coutnty's public libraries. Non-residents may obtain a card, good for one year, for a $25 fee. An Visitor's Card is a $10 fee which is good for 30 days for non-residents who would also like to borrow books and use the library's computers. A photo ID is required for all registrations.
This card entitles the user to borrow library materials and to access the Internet and databases available through the Delaware Library Catalog.
