The Community of Learning Starts Here
Rehoboth Beach Library, sitting in the center of downtown Rehoboth, strives to remain a vibrant part of this community. We serve summer visitors as well as year-round residents. In addition to circulating materials, we provide access to many online electronic databases and provide programming for adults as well as children. Internet terminals are available for use by the general public with a Delaware library card. Patrons have access to free wi-fi with their own electronic devices.
When visiting the Rehoboth Beach Library you will find free parking available in the rear of the building. There are also designated spaces available at Martin's Lawn Parking Lot, the public parking lot behind the library.

The Rehoboth Beach Public Library Board of Trustees will be considering applications/nominations for a vacancy on the board. The Library will meet on October 8th 2014 at 4 PM to discuss any interested persons’ qualifications and make a decision to forward a single nomination to the Sussex County Resident Superior Court Judge for appointment.
The Rehoboth Beach Library Board consists of five (5) members, each appointed for a five (5) year term with a maximum of two terms. The Board meets once per month for approximately two hours. Additional meetings may be held as circumstances warrant. The Board functions as a policy making body, with fiscal responsibility, long range planning, and maintenance of physical building for the library as its role.
The Rehoboth Beach Library is an independent library that receives functional guidance from the Sussex County and Delaware State Library Directors.
