AniManga CALLING ALL OTAKU!!! Come geek out at the library! We'll talk, share, and watch manga, anime and Japan. This club is for teens, grades 6th through 12th. The next meeting will be held on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 10th. We'll be back on Monday nights at 5:30 in December!
League of Game-Busters will be held Mondays at 6 PM. Kids and teens are welcome to join our new after-school video game club! We will vote on a game to play and then try to beat it together. Snacks will be served. Recommended for ages 7 and up.
Kinder Care is held every Thursday at 10:30 AM in the Children's Activity Area. Ages 3-5. Our story times are a great social time for kids to interact with each other, literacy, and a coordinated activity.
L.E.A.P. is held weekly on Wednesdays October through May at 6 PM. The goal of the Literacy Education Assistance Pups (L.E.A.P) program is to improve the literacy skills of children, and grow their enthusiasm for reading, through the assistance of therapy dog teams as literacy mentors. The presence of a L.E.A.P. dog creates an inviting and motivating reading environment. Specifically, a L.E.A.P. dog is nonjudgmental, comfortable, and FUN! Recommended ages 4 and up.
Tot Time is held in the Children's Area every Friday at 10:30 AM. Literacy & Learning (movement, song and giggles) for Tots ages 6 months through 2 years.
Science Saturdays will start in the Fall on the third Saturday of each month at 11:00 am. Children are invited to participate in a science activity at the library. We have a Magically STEAM oriented surprise in November!
Perler Beads will be our teen craft held November 14th at 4 PM! We'll have a variety of patterns and colors for Teens to work on small individual Perler Bead projects. Whether it's a keychain representing your favorite fandom or something original, the only real limit is your creativity!
