AniManga CALLING ALL OTAKU!!! Come geek out at the library! We'll talk, share, and watch manga, anime and Japan. This club is for teens, grades 6th through 12th. The next meeting will be held on MONDAY, March 18th.
League of Game-Busters is our after-school video game club in February and March, on Monday nights at 6:00. Kids and teens alike are welcome! We select a game and play it together as a group.
Skill Building for Homeschoolers is a new program that we are offering on the third Tuesday of every month at 1:00 PM. Learn about library skills, research, and more!
L.E.A.P. is held weekly on Wednesdays October through May at 6 PM. The goal of the Literacy Education Assistance Pups (L.E.A.P) program is to improve the literacy skills of children, and grow their enthusiasm for reading, through the assistance of therapy dog teams as literacy mentors. The presence of a L.E.A.P. dog creates an inviting and motivating reading environment. Specifically, a L.E.A.P. dog is nonjudgmental, comfortable, and FUN! Recommended ages 4 and up.
PreSchool Pals is held every Thursday at 10:30 AM in the Children's Activity Area. Ages 3-5. Our story times are a great social time for kids to interact with each other, literacy, and a coordinated activity.
Tot Time is held in the Children's Area every Friday at 10:30 AM. Literacy & Learning (movement, song and giggles) for Tots ages 6 months through 2 years.
Science Saturdays will continue on the third Saturday of each month at 11:00 AM. Children are invited to participate in a science activity at the library. We will be playing STEM-related engineering games in February!
